How ATS systems parse customer success manager resumes
- CRM platform names must appear as exact text: Salesforce, HubSpot, Gainsight, Totango, ChurnZero, Zendesk, Intercom, Mixpanel. Not naming the platform produces no keyword match.
- Retention metrics are screened as keyword signals: NPS, churn rate, GRR, NRR, expansion revenue, CLV, and TTV. Describing outcomes without naming the metric leaves the ATS without a signal.
- CS methodology terms (QBR, success plan, onboarding, adoption, renewal management, upsell, cross-sell, executive sponsorship) are filtered individually. Missing one can lower your match score.
