DEFINITION

Quantified Achievements

Resume accomplishments expressed with specific numbers, percentages, or metrics to demonstrate measurable impact.

Quantified achievements are resume bullet points that include specific numbers, percentages, dollar amounts, or other metrics to demonstrate the concrete impact of your work. Instead of 'Improved sales process,' a quantified achievement reads 'Redesigned sales pipeline, increasing conversion rate by 32% and generating $1.2M in new revenue.' Quantifying your accomplishments makes your resume more credible and memorable to hiring managers, and gives ATS systems additional context for matching. Even when exact figures are unavailable, approximations and ranges are more effective than vague descriptions.
